Yes, it’s great I can work from home and adjust my hours to cope with my personal life needs

I focus on Admin work. I support 500 users globally helping them daily to fix issues and identify improvements to present to the product team.
What is the most challenging thing about your role?
There’s always a lot to learn, but of course it’s also the beauty of it.
What is the best thing about your job?
Being able to help users take the most of the platform and do a great job themselves.
How did you get into Salesforce / find out about the course?
I had one of those jobs that paid the bills and allowed me to have reduced hours to pick up my kids. I also had a big impact in people’s lives, but I was stuck and it was very consuming in terms of energy. So a friend reminded me that change is within reach if we want and told me about Salesforce. She said she was doing the course with this amazing consultancy (Economic Change), which I should look at. She told about the flexibility possibilities and the projects and also growth (personal and professionally). I was pregnant, due in March and I thought it was a good idea. (Probably the hormones). So I signed up and classes started a couple of weeks before Teo was born.
Can you share a little about your experience of the course? What was the best thing about it and what was the most challenging?
The challenge was of course having a baby on my lap. Fortunately I had the help of my parents and my in laws. But also everything was new and there’s a lot to learn. It was great to being able to do the practical work experience remotely with being in spain and having a young baby. Everything was accessible.
The best factor was the level of the training and the trainers, their availability and knowledge. And having the right tools to perform the right things. It was great to see everything in context, with an amazing overview with living examples. I was thrilled.
What was it like having a mentor? How did you work / meet together?
My mentor was Heather, the founder of Supermums! It was an honour to work with her because she has so much experience and gives very good hints about everything.
Can you share a little about your work experience (undertaken as part of the course what was good about it? Was it useful?
The work experience was essential for me. Not only to see it working, but also to give some reality check and confidence.
