Day in the Life: Dimka – Found her niche in Digital Marketing by learning Salesforce Marketing Cloud

With almost 10 years experience in marketing, Dimka was looking for a new challenge in the digital marketing & technology space. Supermums gave her the tools to do this and working at Salesforce was the end goal. She now works as an Associate Solutions Engineer at Salesforce.

Dimka has been in marketing for almost 10 years but wanted a new opportunity in the digital marketing and technology space. She found Supermums via LinkedIn and felt that the past trainees aligned with her goals, as well as the hands on learning experience included in the Marketing Cloud course, which is notoriously hard to find. After just 4 months of learning, she was offered 3 jobs, 1 of which was the dream job – to work directly for Salesforce.

 

Dimka decided to upskill and launch her Salesforce career because… 

I came across Supermums and Salesforce in 2021 as I was looking for a new career opportunity in the digital marketing space. My background is in digital marketing and I love learning new things. I wanted to transition into Salesforce, but I didn’t know how. I came across Supermums on LinkedIn and researched different options and the alumni who had completed their courses and felt aligned to what they do. 

 

 Dimka decided to upskill in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Course with Supermums because… 

I didn’t have the knowledge or network in the Marketing Cloud industry and Supermums could offer me this. With Marketing Cloud, I needed someone to guide me through the learning journey and I wanted to get hands on experience with the product. The only way to achieve this hands on experience was through the official course that Supermums could offer. As approved Salesforce Training providers of this course, they were able to include 4 weeks access to a Trial org which gave me the hands on experience i was looking for and needed.

 

Dimka was able to launch her new Salesforce career successfully because…. 

I became Marketing Cloud Specialist certified and updated my profile on LinkedIn. Once this happened I received a lot of positive messages from recruiters who wanted to speak to me about job opportunities. I started interviewing with a range of Salesforce partners, which was quite intensive period. I also secured an interview directly with Salesforce through the Supermums programme and their Recruitment Team. I was lucky to receive 3 offers in total and I decided to pursue the role of Solution Engineer at Salesforce.  Working with Supermums was the key factor and how I ended up working at Salesforce!
