Leslie was working as an IT project manager when she started thinking about making a career change. Bill started his career as an Engineer in Avionics but soon realised he wanted more. He retrained and was in the air transport industry for over 20 years. Soma, was a Primary School Teacher for 5 years before moving to the Netherlands where she became a Freelance Digital Illustrator. She wondered what was her career path though! Her husband mentioned learning Salesforce and it sparked an interest in her, and she hasn’t looked back!

Kate, fell into Education after she became a mum and realised how expensive childcare was, and that she needed a more flexible role. Fast forward 8 years she is an Associate Salesforce Consultant at Ignyto working flexibly around her now 10 year old son, doing a role that inspires her everyday.

Shrabani, a mum of one from India, came to the UK for her husband’s job. She didn’t let that stop her from learning new skills and starting a new career using Salesforce as a CRM Analyst at Experian.

Srividya, a mum of two, worked in the hospitality sector and wanted career progression but didn’t know what route to take. With previous experience of using a CRM, Srividya had heard of Salesforce, and the ‘click not code’ approach made her feel this was something that she could successfully transition into.

Kim was a Veterinary Nurse, and had never heard of Salesforce! After falling out of love with her existing role, and craving more flexibility, a job with career progression and more money, her friend recommended she look at Salesforce.

Melanie, from Austin, Texas, after taking a 15 year long career break to raise her children, decided it was time to get back into work now that the children were older. After taking the Supermums Admin course, Melanie now works for a women-owned Salesforce Consulting Partner firm based in Colorado, where she works remotely from her home in Texas.

Nicole Jackson, from Austin, Texas, was Project Manager at an electrical equipment manufacturing company before embarking on her Salesforce career. The company implemented Salesforce, where Nicole started using it as an end user. After wanting a career change, she took the Supermums Sales Admin course, and is now Business Analyst for a Salesforce Consultancy.

Simon des Forges, born in Jersey and now living in England, left his career as a mental health worker to embark on a career with Salesforce. Simon came across Salesforce when it was integrated into the small charity he was working for. He became really fascinated by what Salesforce could do, and was intrigued to learn more. Simon is now Salesforce Manager for Education and Employers, an organisation aimed at helping young people discover their future.

Juliane Leary, from the US, currently works as Client Services Director for Apps Associates, an enterprise application services leader and Salesforce partner. She signed up to the Supermums Salesforce Consultancy course after looking for a framework to help guide the conversations she was having during pitching to potential clients.

Samantha, from Zimbabwe, has been Portfolio Manager for a leading UK education consultancy for the past 8 years. After starting to feel unfulfilled and stagnant in her role, she decided to identify and hone in on the parts of her job that she really enjoyed, and then look at upskilling in these areas to start feeling re-invigorated in her career again. 

Doerte, from Germany, started her journey with Supermums after listening to an interview with Heather Black and Carol Fishman Cohen on the iRelaunch podcast. It became clear very quickly from listening to Heather that it was time to upskill and become a Salesforce consultant. She wanted to pursue a better paying career after parental leave, and now works as Senior Sales Manager for comSelect, one of the leading Salesforce consultancies in Germany.

Tara, from the US, was a teacher in an Islamic school before she embarked on her Salesforce career. Tara now has her Salesforce Associate certification and the Business Analyst certification with Supermums, and has just been hired by Carrier Corporation, one of the largest HVAC producers in the world, where she is working as an Engineering Change Management Analyst in their engineering department.

Sayidali, from Somalia, has been living in the UK for 17 years. He is a dad of 8 children and completed the course alongside hectic family life and a full-time job. He now works completely remotely as an IT Manager and Salesforce Consultant which allows him to balance his busy family life and work life.

Fermisk, after being made redundant and taking a career break, decided to look into a career in Salesforce after her husband recommended it after using it in his workplace. Fast forward 12 months and she’s certified and has found her dream job, thanks to learning Salesforce with Supermums and getting hired through Supermums Recruitment!

Nikola, an Australian who has been living in the UK for 5 years, had been working as a florist prior to taking the Salesforce Admin course in 2020. After having her first baby one week into the pandemic, she recognised she needed to change to a more flexible career that would allow her to work from home in order to look after her baby. Floristry and retail no longer suited her lifestyle. That’s when she came across Salesforce and the Supermums course – and after 3 days she was sold.

Deeksha, now living in Spain, had been hopping from country to country for 9 years with her husband’s work whilst raising her young family, before settling in Barcelona 5 years ago. After experiencing mental health setbacks brought on by being an expat mum from moving around so much, Deeksha was able to complete the Supermums Salesforce Admin course with the help of Supermums’ experienced trainers who handheld Deeksha during difficult periods.

Evoke, from Dartford, Kent, UK, left her 18 year career in recruitment with the UK Government to embark on a career in Salesforce. Her brother, a Salesforce architect, gave her the confidence to make the career change, despite her worries about not being a ‘techie’. Evoke is now Salesforce Customer Success Manager for Mercy Ships, a non-profit providing help to Africa’s most needy.

Kerry, originally from Northern Ireland but now living in Salisbury, UK, left her job in event partnerships for a non-profit after recognising on maternity leave that she needed a much more flexible career to work around family life. She now works as Salesforce Consultant for the Halo Trust, a non-profit clearing mines and protecting lives.

Daniel, from the West Midlands in England, was working for Coventry university as an Customer Service Advisor when he was accidently promoted to a Salesforce Admin. 2 years later, he is now Functional Consultant for Smart Cloud Consultants, helping lead Smart Cloud on their support services.

Malik, moved to the UK in 2020 at the height of the pandemic and wasn’t sure what career path he wanted to take. His aunt suggested he learn something new, and make himself more marketable in an ever changing and unstable economic climate, and so pointed him in the direction of Supermums as a starting point. He has now completed the Supermums Admin course, as well as the Supermums Consultancy course, and is now Technical Consultant at Arcus Global.

Experienced marketer Paola, a mum of two from Florida, wanted a flexible job that would fit around family life without sacrificing her salary. Learning Marketing Cloud with Supermums, she found having access to a practice organisation made all the difference and helped her secure a great role.

Caitlin a mum of two from Maryland, USA, wanted a more flexible, part-time role so she could be there for her family more. Learning Marketing Cloud allowed her to start her own marketing consultancy and work on her terms around her family, all while upskilling in a niche and in-demand martech product.

Gemma’s role in the travel sector was, like many, gone almost over night when COVID hit in 2020. With a young family to support, she wanted to keep moving forwards and decided to upskill in Salesforce – this was just the beginning of her journey.

Ivan, based in Philadelphia, wanted to up his email developer skill set by learning Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This personal investment gave him the opportunity to work in the Salesforce ecosystem as well as increasing his job opportunities and salary.

Bruna learnt Salesforce Marketing Cloud to enable her to understand & help her clients better. She is passionate about helping other marketers realise the endless possibilities of the Marketing Cloud product in her role as Marketing Cloud Sales Executive at Salesforce.

Margaret wanted to boost her confidence to land her first Salesforce Consultant role and hit the ground running. Having done the course she feels 100% confident that she can do the role, how to answer interview questions and feels equipped with all of the templates, learning and presentations to deliver on projects and communicate with her team and clients.

Ben wanted to develop professional Business Analyst and Agile Project Management skills to become more confident in his role. He wanted to know how to run Discovery workshops and what questions to ask. The content, skills and confidence he has learn’t on the course has enabled him to feel confident and to progress in his career. He has since secured a new role as a Solution Architect. He loves the flexibility and the role everyday.

Roc wanted to progress his career and earning potential to support his family. After falling in love with Salesforce as an end-user he decided to research job roles to work with the product directly. He upskilled with Supermums as a Salesforce Administrator and landed a job working at Vitality Health Insurance. He is now really stimulated in his new job role as there is never a dull day and enjoying the flexibility and lifestyle his new employer offers him. 

Maria enrolled in Supermums Salesforce Admin Course in 2021 after feeling unhappy, overworked & underpaid in her career in Civil Engineering. She has since gone on to land her first role as a Salesforce Admin been promoted to Application Development Senior Analyst, and achieved a higher paid salary, more flexibility & more work-life balance.

As a stay at home mum who frequently relocated around the world as part of her partner’s job, Shenita had been trying to find a career that she could do from anywhere that would equally pay her a good wage. She came across Salesforce and Supermums and upskilled in Admin and Consultancy Skills. She now works as a freelance Salesforce Consultant working remotely.

Following Redundancy from her corporate role, Arlene was looking for a flexible and remote job to fit around family responsibilities. The Supermums Salesforce Marketing Cloud course helped her achieve this.

Rayan had left her previous role in hospitality management to raise two kids, but as they started their learning at nursery, she decided to get back to learning too.

After having a career break to raise her family Erika knew she wanted to go back to work in the digital transformation space and the Salesforce ecosystem was the perfect fit due its equality, diversity and support of women. Now all she needed to do was learn Salesforce!
