What Is Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360)?
Salesforce Data Cloud — now officially renamed Salesforce Data 360 — is Salesforce’s data platform that unifies customer data from across Sales, Service, Marketing and Commerce Cloud into a single, real-time customer profile. Instead of data sitting in separate silos, Data 360 brings it together so every team, and every AI agent through Agentforce, works from the same accurate picture of the customer.
You’ll still see it referred to as “Data Cloud” in places — Salesforce’s own Trailhead content and some documentation haven’t fully caught up with the rename yet — so our course covers both names and makes sure you’re comfortable with the terminology wherever you encounter it.
What Does the Certification Cover?
This course prepares you for the Salesforce Certified Data 360 Consultant certification— the rebranded and refreshed version of the former Data Cloud Consultant credential, updated to reflect the platform’s expanded, AI-driven capabilities.
The exam covers six core domains: data ingestion and integration, data modelling and harmonisation, identity resolution, segmentation, activation, and how Data 360 connects into the wider Salesforce ecosystem and Agentforce. Our course walks through each of these step by step, combining exam preparation with the hands-on, real-world skills to actually implement Data 360 in a live org.
