Today the Supermums team worked with other partners in the ecosystem who share our commitment to diversity and equality – a key Sustainable Development Goal as outlined in our previous blog .

The Powerhouse Together event, sponsored by Accenture, saw members and supporters on Supermums, Amplify, Ladies be Architects, RADWomen and WITDevs come together to share and support each other.

During our session we had a great time asking the collected Salesforce talent for their wisdom, so that we can pass on to our Supermums new to the ecosystem. We’ll be tweeting the results under the #tiptuesday and #supermumtips hashtag over the coming weeks (maybe months – we have a lot!) so follow us now @SupermumsGlobal. You can find out more about our training HERE.

Supermums has a fantastic network of supporters – not least our 150 alumni and current trainees from our EMEA courses. We were delighted to see so many of our friends at the event, along with new supporters who came along to find out more about our launch in the USA. Our first Administrator Training course will commence on 2nd December and is sponsored by our fantastic partner, Validity.

‘Validity is proud to be a part of the growth of Supermums as they now expand into the United States. We believe that having a child should not force someone to abandon their career or personal ambition in order to devote time on what really matters most —family. Working with an organization like Supermums to help people get back into the workplace —with the digital skillset needed to succeed —is beyond just a nice thing to do, it’s the right thing to do.”

Charlie Ungashick, CMO, Validity

How can I support Supermums in the USA?

Spread the word

Follow us on social ; check out @SupermumsGlobal on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.

In particular, you can share that applications for our first USA based Admin course are now open, so if you want to launch your career in Salesforce, or know someone who does, let them know about it. The course includes webinars, online learning, mentorship and work experience and is designed to be flexible and work around the life of busy mums (and dads)! We’re giving away a FREE place on the course to one lucky applicant during Dreamforce week – check out how to enter HERE.

Volunteer

We are also looking for mentors to support trainees with their learning and introduce them to the brilliant world of Salesforce! If you’d like to be a part of shaping someone’s Salesforce learning journey, we’d love to hear from you. Head to supermums.org/volunteer

We have some great sponsors such as Validity and Accenture working with us as we launch the USA, but we need more to join us in our mission so that together we can empower more mums with Salesforce. You’ll be contributing to workforce development, enabling the growth of the ecosystem and creating a diverse and inclusive workforce. Find out more about sponsorship opportunities HERE .
