Do you work in the Salesforce ecosystem?
Could you inspire our Supermums through social media?

You might just be able to help! We are asking individuals to volunteer their time by creating a 5 minute video about their job role in the Salesforce ecosystem.

Why?

  • We want to inspire mums and their families about the different job roles that exist in the Salesforce ecosystem
  • We want to share insight on people’s backgrounds and the path they took to train and secure their job within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • We want to share the possibilities to work flexibility in the ecosystem and demonstrate champions for equality and diversity
  • We’d love to be able to share your video on You Tube and Instagram to inspire our Supermums

About the Programme

The Supermums programme trains mums as Salesforce Administrators, with training, mentoring, real work experience and job placement support. To-date, we have delivered 8 courses to 66 international trainees, who have provided £196k of pro-bono support to 46 non-profits through their work experience projects.

We have a brilliant team of volunteers who provide mentoring and training support and actively engage in our Facebook network- Find out about other volunteering opportunities here

About the Video
We are launching this initiative today, but please submit your video at any time when you’re ready.

Using your phone or webinar software we invite you to create and submit a 5 minute video below about you and your role within the Salesforce ecosystem. Tell us about your job role, the company you work for, what you enjoy about it, your background, what training and qualifications you did, and what level of flexibility you enjoy now.

We will review and approve video that we feel hits the mark and we will post the videos on our Salesforce Supermums social media channel hosted on Instagram and You Tube to spread the word to mums about the different roles that exist in the eco-system.

As part of our social mission, we are also asking Supermums to share the footage to inspire their own kids and to speak in their local school about the career opportunities, so we can use these videos to also inspire the next generation through our supermum outreach.

We have decided to launch this volunteering initiative on World Mental Health Day as the Salesforce eco-system takes pride in supporting diversity, equality and making technology an inspiring and safe place. This year’s mental health day is about supporting youth well-being and helping them to overcome challenges of today. Read more here https://wfmh.global/world-mental-health-day-2018/

Marc Benioff, Co-CEO at Salesforce.com encourages us to inspire and support youth, and one of the proven ways to create a positive future for young people is through supporting parents to be socially and economically secure, inspired and informed about opportunities that can help them and their families to be successful. Many of our Supermums have inspired their partners and their children about the career opportunities in Salesforce and we have an opportunity to amplify this through our network.
