Day 4 – Learn about different careers in Salesforce

Salesforce offers you a career path, there are many roles you can progress into when you have the foundation knowledge of the platform. Our Supermum trainees walk into a wide range of roles after graduating from our course, depending on their previous career. These roles include Project Manager, Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Sales, Marketing, Salesforce Administrator, Consultant working with a wide range of the products.

These roles exist within a wide range of industries and departments amongst customers who use Salesforce globally, and it’s often easiest to apply Salesforce initially to an industry or department you understand well, whether it’s commercial or non-profit.

When I completed my Admin cert, I started as a Salesforce Admin working on my own Salesforce instance for my charity. Since 2010 I have since progressed to complete further courses in Advanced Admin, Consultancy, Project Management, Change Management, Sales and Business Analysis to further my knowledge and become a confident Salesforce Consultant. I continue to develop my knowledge on the platform by completing a range of Salesforce product certifications. I now run my own Salesforce Consultancy and train others to become Salesforce consultants.
