Salesforce Consultant

A Salesforce Consultant is often a hybrid role that can include project management, business analysis, system design and development.

A consultant will present themselves as an expert that typically operates within a consultancy environment or as a freelancer to help clients implement Salesforce.

A consultant is an expert that is trained and certified in Salesforce admin and a range of Salesforce consultancy certifications.

  • Undertake demos, prepare proposals for client pitches and attend pitches as required.
  • Deliver an onsite business analyst and consultant role with clients.
  • Support internal quality improvement and business process management.
  • Manage the evaluation process of Salesforce services.
  • Be involved and take care of deliverable content as per client needs.
  • System admin and designing new functions & working closely with variety of stakeholders, requirements gathering and analysis.

Typical Salesforce Consultants Day

Morning

You start the day with a Daily Check in with your Salesforce and client team to understand daily priorities and answer questions related to the project.

Mid Morning

You finish off building the Salesforce solution based on the requirements you have gathering in a previous business analysis workshop.

Afternoon

You complete the user testing and training material ready to teach the client how to use the system.

Late Afternoon

You put in test data into the system and prepare to deliver a demo of a solution to deliver back to a client to showcase the work that has been built to meet their requirements.

End of Day

You log your time and deliverables within your project management tool and check everything is on track, assigning any tasks to a client and sharing files you have created for them.
