With a strong reputation for transforming lives through education and career development, our client plays a key role in the further and higher education space. The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, cross-functional team consisting of educators, administrators, and technical professionals, supporting Salesforce systems across the organisation. Their core services focus on education, training, and career development.
Key responsibilities and focus areas:
- Designing and building Salesforce applications
- Customising workflows and automation processes
- Integrating Salesforce with external systems
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders
- Enhancing user experience and optimising data workflows
- Developing dashboards and analytics tools
- Staying current with Salesforce technologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred for advanced roles)
- Maths and English qualification (or equivalent Level 2)
- Understanding of education sector processes (e.g., admissions and enrolment)
- Experience with Salesforce platform implementation and customisation
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- (Desirable) Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I, App Builder, or Administrator
Technology & Tools:
- Salesforce platform (including Education Cloud)
- Salesforce Lightning
- Visualforce
- Apex
- SOQL
- JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Familiarity with Python and MySQL (desirable)
- Salesforce automation tools, dashboards, and data modelling tools
