Our client is a UK-based, purpose-driven organisation operating within the education and social impact space, focused on improving outcomes for children and young people. It has an established presence and a collaborative working culture, delivering a range of programmes, services, and resources that support organisations and stakeholders in achieving better outcomes and experiences.

 

You’ll work closely with the Systems Manager and collaborate across multiple internal teams, including customer-facing, product, and commercial functions. The environment is relatively lean, requiring a balance of independent working and strong cross-functional collaboration.

 

Key responsibilities and focus areas:

  • Own Salesforce administration (users, permissions, objects, layouts, reporting)
  • Design, build, and maintain complex Salesforce Flows tailored to organisation-specific processes
  • Drive automation and continuous improvement across departments
  • Maintain high data quality, governance, and system security
  • Troubleshoot issues and manage system updates and deployments
  • Support integrations and cross-platform workflows
  • Provide training and support to non-technical users

 

Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on Salesforce administration experience
  • Deep expertise in Salesforce Flow, including:
    • Record-triggered flows
    • Screen flows
    • Scheduled flows
    • Auto-launched flows
  • Experience working in heavily customised Salesforce environments, where flows are often complex and business-critical
  • Proven ability to design, build, and maintain advanced automations, not just basic workflows
  • Hands-on experience with Zapier, including building new Zaps and maintaining existing ones
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with external platforms, such as:
    • Google (e.g., Sheets)
    • Zoom
    • WooCommerce
    • Thinkific
  • Strong troubleshooting, data management, and optimisation skills
  • Ability to translate business processes into scalable technical solutions
  • Confident communicator able to support and train stakeholders

 

Technology & Tools:

  • Core platforms:
    • Salesforce Sales Cloud
    • Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Key tools (heavily emphasised):
    • Salesforce Flow (primary automation tool – advanced usage expected)
    • Zapier (critical for integrations and workflow automation)
  • Integrations & ecosystem:
    • Google Workspace (Sheets, etc.)
    • Zoom
    • WooCommerce / website integrations
    • Data tools (Data Loader, DataGroomr)

 

Key Benefits:

    • £34k per annum (pro-rata to £20,453 for part-time role)
