One of the biggest factors that stands out in the Salesforce community is how people help each other to succeed on their career path.

We instill this within the Supermums community from the start through mobilising people to help our trainees succeed on our programmes, whether it’s through the mentoring, coaching, work experience, training, peer support or recruitment advice. You are surrounded by help along the way.

In the Salesforce sector we are all hear to help lift each other up and we should continue to help others throughout our career whether it’s through mentoring, sharing knowledge, being a role model, or celebrating their success and more.

This week on our Mums on Cloud Nine Podcast we have Kayleigh Potter on the show, who works at Salesforce as an Account Executive. As a recent mother she shares how she balances her life with the demands on a sales role. She also talks about her volunteer work supporting other women in the workplace at Salesforce. We hope it will inspire you to initiative a similar initiative in your workplace to help other women around you. Listen to it here.

To accelerate your career reach out to get a helping hand. We would recommend the following package of support which is what we provide at Supermums:

  • Mentoring – An experienced salesforce professional imparting technical expertise in response to your learning needs and supporting you to acquire the new knowledge and skills. Ideally a mentor would be overseeing your practical implementation of skills so they can see and advise on your delivery of work.
  • Coaching – A coach helping you to clarify your vision, boost self-esteem, set your goals and motivate you to move forward.
  • Recruitment – A recruitment consultant advising on the job market, suitable opportunities, and helping you prepare your CV and interview skills.
  • Peer Support – Find your tribe of people like you who you connect with and can help you feel part of a movement. You can reach out to them for advice, peer accountability or connect at events.
  • Trainer – An experienced trainer will deliver training to impart their knowledge, give you the opportunity to ask questions and empower you the skills and confidence to apply them in the future.
