About the Organisation & Role

Our client is a not-for-profit organisation focused on leadership development, supporting exceptional leaders across a range of sectors to create a positive and lasting impact on society.

The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day management, support and optimisation of the organisation’s Salesforce CRM, including Sales Cloud, Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) and existing integrations. The role will also oversee key aspects of the IT environment, including systems, hardware, software and information security, working closely with an outsourced IT provider.

The role will support ongoing Salesforce development, including the planned implementation of Experience Cloud, Education Cloud and/or Agentforce for Nonprofits.

 

Key responsibilities and focus areas

  • Act as the Salesforce Administrator responsible for the day-to-day administration and optimisation of Salesforce.
  • Manage users, permissions, security, data, objects, fields, flows, reports and dashboards.
  • Troubleshoot Salesforce functionality, integrations, forms and survey solutions.
  • Maintain data quality, system security and Salesforce best practice.
  • Manage and prioritise Salesforce and IT requirements and deliver continuous improvements.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into effective Salesforce solutions.
  • Support Salesforce releases, system audits and maintain a strong Salesforce Health Check score.
  • Support the implementation and ongoing administration of Experience Cloud, Education Cloud and/or Agentforce.
  • Assist with data migration, testing and validation of third-party solutions.
  • Oversee key IT security controls, user access, backups and Cyber Essentials compliance.
  • Liaise with outsourced IT suppliers and act as a point of escalation for IT issues.
  • Provide user support, training and guidance to technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Stay up to date with Salesforce developments and identify opportunities for improvement.

 

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator or in a similar Salesforce-focused role.
  • Professional Salesforce certification.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience with data management, integrations and system administration.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Experience working in an IT or Salesforce-focused environment.
  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent relevant experience.

 

Desired

  • Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud, Education Cloud and/or Agentforce.
  • Experience with Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP).
  • Experience of Salesforce data migration and third-party integrations.
  • Experience managing cyber security compliance and Cyber Essentials.
  • Experience working with external IT suppliers and vendors.
  • IT Service Management experience across Incident, Problem, Change and Release Management.
  • Knowledge of Agile project management principles and practices.
