Role Overview:

 

Our client is looking for a highly technical and CRM executive, who can really hit the ground running in for their CRM team. The role is technical, you will be working in SQL, HTML, CSS, and scripting/templating languages to build, automate, and orchestrate sophisticated emails and other owned media marketing execution. Our client is currently on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud stack. The technical CRM team, which you will be a part of, will be responsible for many automated and triggered campaign journeys that self-sustain and are always on. These projects and responsibilities include:

 

  • Behavioural and triggered campaigns (such as the simple stuff like basket and browse abandon but move into back-in-stock reminders, price alerts for products customers are interested in, to post purchase content and inspiration journeys encouraging continued engagement in email and with post-purchase and even cross sell and upsell.
  • Growth of and the sophistication of our lifecycle/remarketing audience based marketing campaigns – going well beyond traditional RFM and welcome/winback/lapsing journeys – into sophisticated segmentation and targeting campaigns based on CLTV understanding/modelling and next-best-action objectives

The team will also be deeply involved with and partnering with the customer-data and data-science teams, helping develop much more sophisticated customer lifetime value models and retention strategies. The team is also responsible for Tealium and the orchestration of a consistent audience strategy across all of our channels and the website.

 

As a part of the role, the technical CRM team will be central in fostering a more data-oriented approach to customer retention and CRM marketing. Evolving the measurement framework and KPI’s we use. Foster a test and learn and experimentation culture in our marketing campaigns.

 

Experiences We Are Looking For:

 

  • We are currently on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud stack; experience in Salesforce is a nice to have, but not a deal breaker – if you experience developing and orchestrating email and audience automations in other ESPs and marketing systems then great!
  • Experience in SQL is a must, and data/reporting systems in general is important. Experience in HTML, CSS and ampscript or other email templating languages is important and will be the languages and systems to primarily build systems, customer communications, dynamic content, and personalisation in.

You’ll have several years of experience working in Software Development with a strong recent focus on Salesforce. You’ll understand Salesforce inside and out – and know what it’s great at, what should be avoided and have an awareness of what the future holds. You’ll preferably have worked with other technologies besides Salesforce and be able to apply that knowledge and modern technical concepts into your day-to-day work. You’ll be a great communicator and be able to make very technical concepts easily accessible to non-technical audiences.

 

You’ll work closely with the existing Technical, Product and UX teams, bring others on the journey with you and ensure that things are always left better than you found them. You’ll be confident taking ownership of a problems, be a self-starter and an excellent problem solver. You won’t have all the answers – but you’ll be ready to work collaborative and pragmatic way to discover solutions. But most importantly, you’ll operate with empathy, kindness, pragmatism, and an unwavering focus on creating fantastic experiences for your customers.

Our client believes that the best way to build relationships is in person and creating great experiences for customers happens best when it is done together. This means you will be asked to join the Global Headquarters in the heart of Borough Market, two to three days per week, with a level of flexibility if required by project needs. 

 

Your Experience

 

Required

  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce product suite including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud (formerly Communities) and AppExchange solutions
  • Strong knowledge in Salesforce Administration including managing profiles, teams, and security
  • Continual evaluation of existing Salesforce security and architecture to ensure its manageability and sustainability
  • Demonstrated experience working with both Lightning and Classic
  • Excellent understanding of Apex, its benefits, limitations, where to use it and where to use configuration
  • Experience developing Salesforce components (Apex, Apps, Lightening Web Components, Visualforce Pages, SOQL)

  • Facilitate the understanding of the business and functional requirements by the development teams to ensure proper implementation
