Salesforce Technical Lead

Our client is a well-established digital transformation and technology consultancy operating within the Salesforce ecosystem. They deliver enterprise-scale solutions to a wide range of clients across multiple industries, with a strong reputation for quality, delivery excellence, and technical leadership.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative Technical Delivery Team that fosters mentorship, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing. The team works closely with senior stakeholders, end users, architects, developers, and sales teams to deliver high-quality Salesforce implementations. Services include Salesforce consulting, solution architecture, system integration, data migration, and end-to-end project delivery across both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Key responsibilities and focus areas:

• Lead a technical team in delivering Salesforce solutions aligned to client Statements of Work
• Engage with senior stakeholders and end users to analyse, design, and define scalable solutions
• Own and contribute to High-Level Designs and refined user stories
• Facilitate and lead workshops and technical discussions
• Oversee and execute data migrations and deployment processes in line with company standards
• Mentor Lead Developers and support career progression into Technical Lead roles
• Conduct development reviews and support recruitment processes
• Contribute to best practices, reusable assets, and implementation patterns
• Assist Sales with pre-sales discovery, solution summaries, and estimates
• Review and sign off solution summaries and cost estimates
• Ensure adherence to commercial expectations, scope control, and change management processes
• Maintain Salesforce certifications and support continuous learning across the team
• Occasionally deliver consultancy engagements independently

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in Apex, LWC, and Aura
• Experience leading Salesforce project delivery teams
• Proven experience designing scalable Salesforce architectures
• Experience delivering projects in both Agile and Waterfall environments
• Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
• Commercial awareness and experience working to estimates and Statements of Work

Required certifications:

• Platform Developer I
• Certified Administrator
• Certified App Builder
• Certified Sales Cloud Consultant
• Certified Service Cloud Consultant
• Advanced on either the Application Architect or System Architect pathway

Desirable:

• Platform Developer II
• JavaScript Developer Certification
• Experience with Jitterbit or MuleSoft
