Salesforce Developer

An international nonprofit organisation is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join its growing Digital & Technology team. Operating in over 40 countries with a team of 800+ professionals, the organisation partners with governments to deliver transformative policy, strategy, and digital solutions that improve lives on a global scale.

As part of an ambitious digital transformation, the organisation is migrating from Microsoft Dynamics to Salesforce—building a brand-new platform from the ground up. This is a greenfield opportunity for a developer who is passionate about creating scalable, user-focused solutions that make a difference.

Role Overview

The Salesforce Developer will play a key role in developing and customising Salesforce features in alignment with internal priorities. Working closely with a Senior Salesforce Developer and a Salesforce Administrator, the role will contribute to both declarative and programmatic development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and customise Salesforce functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows
• Collaborate with the Senior Developer to implement solution designs
• Work alongside Admins to deliver cohesive solutions that bridge declarative and coded components
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and delivery
• Create and maintain technical documentation and reusable components

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification
• At least two of the following Salesforce certifications:
• Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Marketing Cloud Admin, Platform App Builder, Slack Admin, or Agentforce
• Strong combination of administrative and development skills
• Experience working in Agile environments using Git-based version control
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Desirable:

• Nonprofit Cloud Consultant certification, or willingness to obtain within 12 months
