Workday Technical Lead

We’re looking for a Workday Developer / Manager to lead the customisation, integration, and optimisation of our client’s Workday and Adaptive platforms. You’ll work at the intersection of HR, finance, and digital innovation, ensuring these systems deliver maximum value to a growing global organisation.

Role Type:

This is a hands-on, hybrid technical and leadership role suited to someone experienced in Workday development and looking to play a key role in system design and delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain custom configurations and extensions in Workday and Adaptive
• Ensure seamless integrations with systems such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM and PowerApps
• Work closely with HR and Finance stakeholders to translate business needs into system enhancements
• Automate workflows to improve operational efficiency
• Monitor system performance and manage upgrades without disrupting business operations
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Digital Partners to align technical delivery with organisational strategy
• Support and train end-users across various teams

Requirements:

• Extensive experience with Workday development, including Workday Studio, Workday Extend, and Adaptive
• Strong background in system integration using APIs and middleware tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex technical requirements
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and iterative delivery
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset
• Knowledge of core HR and Finance processes within Workday

Technology & Tools

• Workday Suite: Workday Studio, Extend, Adaptive
• Integrations: Microsoft Dynamics CRM, PowerApps, and other enterprise systems
• Agile project tools (e.g. Jira or similar)
