Senior Salesforce Developer

Our client is a global non-profit organisation with a strong reputation for delivering high-impact programmes that support governments and leaders around the world. The successful candidate will join a cross-functional Salesforce delivery pod, working closely with Product Managers, Salesforce Administrators, and other developers. The organisation fosters a collaborative, Agile working environment that encourages continuous learning and improvement.

Role Type:

This is a senior technical role focused on leading product development within the Salesforce platform. It combines hands-on coding with solution design and mentoring responsibilities, making it ideal for candidates with both technical depth and leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a cross-functional pod to deliver Salesforce capabilities within a defined business area
• Translate business requirements into high-quality technical solutions and user stories
• Build scalable and maintainable Salesforce components using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and APIs
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers
• Ensure technical solutions align with architectural standards, including CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning
• Collaborate with other pod leads to drive best practices and knowledge sharing across teams

Requirements:

• Salesforce Platform Developer II certification (essential)
• At least two additional certifications (e.g. Advanced Administrator, JavaScript Developer, Platform App Builder, Sharing & Visibility Architect, Data Architect, or User Experience Designer)
• Strong experience with Apex, LWC, Flows, and system integration
• Excellent communication skills and experience engaging with non-technical stakeholders
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and product management processes
• Advanced knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Salesforce DevOps tooling
• Bonus: Nonprofit Cloud Consultant certification (or willingness to obtain within 12 months)
