Salesforce Technical Architect

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – 3 days on-site with potential to move fully remote after 6 months)

Term: Contract (9 months – subject to extension)

Our client is a well-established technology consulting firm specializing in cloud-based enterprise solutions. With a strong reputation in the Salesforce ecosystem, they partner with clients across various industries to deliver high-impact digital transformation initiatives.

You will join a mid-sized, collaborative Salesforce team that includes architects, developers, consultants, and project managers. The team works on both new (greenfield) projects and long-term engagements with mature environments.

Their services span the Salesforce product suite, including Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and integrated enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect scalable and secure Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
• Lead Lightning Experience migration efforts.
• Design and implement advanced customizations in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Prepare and review technical architecture documents and Salesforce code.
• Define validation rules, standards, and technical specifications.
• Drive enterprise integration using APIs and architectural best practices.
• Manage and manipulate data using Workbench, Inspector, and Data Import Wizard.

Requirements:

• Salesforce Certified Application Architect & System Architect (required).
• Extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Force.com development.
• Strong background in enterprise integrations and multi-cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of data management, governance, and technical documentation.

Data Management Tools:

• Workbench, Inspector, Data Import Wizard

Integration:

• REST/SOAP APIs, custom middleware (preferred)
• DevOps & CI/CD tooling experience is a plus
