The Salesforce Administrator will work across small, multidisciplinary teams including programme delivery staff, business analysts, developers, and senior leadership. The working environment is inclusive, agile, and purpose-focused.

 

Role Details:

  • This is a specialist technical role combining Salesforce administration, project delivery, and stakeholder support.
  • The Salesforce environment is well-established but actively evolving, with scope for leading enhancements, new projects, and integrations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and enhance the Salesforce platform
  • Lead Salesforce-related projects and rollouts
  • Create dashboards and reports to support strategic decisions
  • Manage data imports/exports and ensure data quality
  • Integrate external tools (e.g., FormAssembly) and automate workflows
  • Provide user training and support
  • Ensure GDPR compliance and contribute to digital strategy initiatives

 

Technology & Tools

  • Salesforce CRM (Flows, Process Builder, validation rules, dashboards)
  • FormAssembly
  • Agile tools: Microsoft Planner, Jira, Trello
  • Data/integration tools: Power BI, Zapier, MuleSoft (desirable)
  • Familiarity with Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) and Experience Cloud is a plus

 

Requirements:

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator with strong hands-on configuration skills
  • Demonstrated experience managing Salesforce projects end-to-end
  • Proficiency in Salesforce declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder, validation rules)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to design custom dashboards and reports
  • Familiarity with agile project management tools (e.g., Trello, Jira, Microsoft Planner)
  • Experience maintaining data quality and integrity
  • Clear, concise documentation skills for technical and non-technical users
  • Understanding of data governance and GDPR compliance
  • Experience with user training, support, and change management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

 

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification
  • Experience with Campaign Manager, FormAssembly, Power BI, or integration platforms like Zapier or MuleSoft
  • Familiarity with Salesforce NPSP or Experience Cloud
  • Previous experience in the nonprofit, education, or public sector
  • Interest in equity, social mobility, or community impact
  • A user-first mindset with a balance of technical and strategic thinking
