Location: UK – Hybrid (2-3 days in the office | Multiple locations available)

 

An exciting new opportunity is available for a Salesforce Developer to join the friendly and supportive IT delivery teams within our client’s organisation. The role involves working alongside colleagues in the Care and Claims programme, utilising a diverse range of technologies, and contributing to the implementation of new solutions while optimising existing systems.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of the strategic customer platform, ensuring best practices in architecture, design, development, and deployment are followed.
  • Working within an agile team, adhering to Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
  • Collaborating with business colleagues and stakeholders to identify and improve suitable solutions.
  • Promoting continuous improvement initiatives both within the team and across the IT department, identifying inefficiencies and driving or facilitating change.
  • Supporting delivery goals, lifecycle management, and managing technical debt.

 

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Demonstrated development experience with Salesforce, with a Salesforce Platform Developer 1 certification preferred, including proficiency in writing well-documented code in Apex, Triggers, Lightning, Lightning Web Components, and process automation tools such as Flows and Process Builder.
  • Experience with Salesforce Industries, Omnistudio, or VLocity is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices, with extensive hands-on experience.
  • Ability to integrate Salesforce with other applications through real-time, batch, and synchronous/asynchronous processes.
  • Familiarity with the full Software Development Lifecycle, including Release Management, Testing, and Deployment processes.
  • Proficient in using SFDX for development and automation, as well as GIT for version control.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Health Cloud, and Copado is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Azure, .NET, or JavaScript/TypeScript would be advantageous.
