About the Role:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Salesforce Media Cloud Consultant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce Media Cloud and its application in advertising inventory management and monetization. This role involves working with clients across various industries to design, implement, and optimize Salesforce Media Cloud solutions that streamline ad operations, centralize inventory management, and maximize revenue from advertising spaces. The candidate must have a strong technical grounding in Salesforce and be able to articulate the building blocks of configuration required to meet specific business requirements. They must also be an expert in writing user stories and acceptance criteria, and possess a solid understanding of AdOps and platforms like Criteo and Google Ad Manager (GAM).

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Consultation and Strategy Development:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their advertising inventory management needs and challenges.
  • Develop strategies to leverage Salesforce Media Cloud for centralizing and monetizing ad inventory across platforms like Google AdWords, Meta Ads, YouTube, LinkedIn, and more.
  • Provide expert advice on best practices for ad operations, inventory optimization, and revenue growth.

Implementation and Configuration:

  • Lead the implementation of Salesforce Media Cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
  • Configure and customize Salesforce Media Cloud, including:
  • Understanding and leveraging the Media Cloud data model.
  • Building Salesforce screen and record-triggered flows.
  • Creating validation rules, custom fields, and duplicate rules.
  • Configuring record sharing and security settings.
  • Integrate Salesforce Media Cloud with third-party platforms like Criteo, Google Ad Manager (GAM), and other AdOps tools.

Project Management:

  • Work alongside project manager assisting with end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project completion.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project progress and milestones.

Documentation and User Stories:

  • Write clear and concise user stories in the standardized format: – AS A [user role], I WANT [goal], SO THAT [reason].
  • Define acceptance criteria using the GIVEN/WHEN/THEN format: – GIVEN [scenario X], WHEN [event Y occurs], THEN [expected outcome Z].
  • Ensure all configuration requirements are documented unambiguously for development and testing teams.

Training and Support:

  • Conduct training sessions for clients and internal teams on Salesforce Media Cloud functionalities.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation of implemented solutions.
  • Develop documentation and user guides to facilitate knowledge transfer.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated with the latest Salesforce Media Cloud features and industry trends.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovative solutions.
  • Participate in Salesforce community events and forums to share knowledge and best practices.

 

Qualifications:

 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Salesforce consulting, with a focus on advertising operations, ad tech, or media monetization.
  • Proven track record of successful Salesforce Media Cloud implementations.
  • Experience working with platforms like Google Ad Manager (GAM), Criteo, Meta Ads, Google AdWords, and programmatic advertising tools.
  • Strong understanding of AdOps and its application in marketing departments for retailers or other businesses looking to monetize content space.

Technical Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Media Cloud capabilities and limitations.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration, including:
  • Salesforce data model and object relationships.
  • Screen and record-triggered flows.
  • Validation rules, custom fields, and duplicate rules.
  • Record sharing and security settings.
  • Familiarity with related technologies such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CRM, and data analytics tools.

Certifications:

  • Salesforce Media Cloud Consultant Certification (or ADvendio certification) is required.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder) are a plus.

 Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field.
