A business analyst within Salesforce is someone who analyses a business process and identifies the pain points and helps them to prioritise areas that can be improved using technology.

Business analyst techniques are great skills to have in any Salesforce related job role really, whether it’s sales, admin, consultant, architect or straight business analyst of course. Why? Because technology will only be successful if it is solving a business need and it helps the company, team or individual to perform better.

It’s imperative that in order for a technology transformation project to be successful that:

  • Processes are reviewed in detailed and improved
  • Priorities are scrutinized and agreed
  • Technology options are appraised
  • Goals and outcomes are measurable and clear
