Salesforce Field Service Solution Architect

Our client is a global Salesforce consulting and digital solutions organisation, recognised for delivering large-scale enterprise transformations. The company specialises in designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce-based platforms and cloud-native applications for major international clients across Europe and beyond.

The successful candidate will join the Digital Solutions / Architecture department, working within cross-functional Agile teams made up of solution architects, developers, business analysts, and product owners. The role involves close collaboration with both internal stakeholders and a major global enterprise client, as part of a distributed team operating within European time zones.

This position operates within a mature Salesforce environment undergoing continuous enhancement and integration with ERP systems. The role focuses on Salesforce Field Service solution design and multi-system architecture in an enterprise context.

Key responsibilities and focus areas:

• Solution Design & Architecture: Translate complex business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable Salesforce-based solutions. Design end-to-end architecture involving Salesforce Field Service and ERP integrations.
• Integration Design: Architect and oversee integrations with external systems, including ERP, middleware, and SSO integrations with third-party platforms.
• Agile Collaboration: Participate actively in backlog meetings and lead solution design sessions. Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership during sprint execution. Serve as the primary contact for cross-project technical dependencies.
• Governance & Documentation: Maintain architectural documentation, including integration and data flow diagrams. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and internal enterprise architecture standards.

Requirements:

• 4+ years’ experience in Salesforce architecture and development.
• Proven track record in mid to large-scale Salesforce Field Service projects.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Field Service and ERP integrations.
• Strong understanding of multi-system architecture involving SAP and middleware.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Salesforce Architect or Field Service certifications are a strong advantage.

• Salesforce Platform Expertise: Service Cloud, Salesforce Field Service, APEX, Flow Automations
• ERP Integration: SAP and related integration patterns
• Architecture & Agile Tools: UML, ERD modelling, Jira, Confluence, draw.io (or equivalent diagramming tools)
• Soft Skills: Fluent in English, strong communicator, and effective in cross-functional collaboration
