We’re thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Lead Salesforce Developer. In this role, you’ll lead the development and support of our client’s new Salesforce-powered customer platform, working alongside their agile delivery teams. The platform integrates Service, Sales, Health, and Marketing Cloud to deliver a comprehensive solution.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the design, development, and support of our strategic customer platform, ensuring best practices in architecture, design, development, and deployment are followed.
  • Collaborating within an agile team and adhering to Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
  • Prioritising automation and code quality, utilising automated release pipelines and test packs to ensure efficient and high-quality product delivery to users.
  • Serving as a coach and mentor for junior development team members, fostering growth and skill development.
  • Championing continuous improvement both within specific technology domains and across the broader IT department.

 

Qualifications:

  • Must have Salesforce Platform Developer 1 Certification
  • Strong expertise in Salesforce architecture, with a focus on writing maintainable, secure code and adhering to best practices in configuration within Salesforce
  • Proficient in writing well-documented code using Apex, Triggers, Lightning, and Lightning Web Components
  • Experience with Omnistudio and business rules engine components is highly desirable
  • Prior experience in Salesforce configuration and process automation, including Flows and Process Builder
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate Salesforce with other applications using real-time, batch, and sync/async methods
  • Solid understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including Release Management, Testing, and Deployment
  • Experience with SFDX for development and automation, as well as GIT version control
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Data Tools such as Data Loader and Import Wizard
  • Innovative problem-solving skills with a track record of guiding teams through change
  • Awareness of current industry trends and a commitment to continuous learning
  • Eligibility and authorisation to work in the United Kingdom is a requirement for this role
