Our client requires a highly experienced Global Salesforce Programme/Engagement Manager to help lead their global rollout programmes for some of the world’s leading charities, enabling them to grow their fundraising and supporter engagement using the power of Salesforce and Marketing Cloud.

 

You will be working closely alongside senior consultants and architects, as well as highly experienced individuals at our clients.

 

This role will require:

Experience

  • 5 years’ proven experience in client-facing programme manager roles leading Salesforce focused projects and programmes, and involving complex decision making and exceptional communication skills
  • Hands on delivery of managing a portfolio of projects within a global programme
  • Experience delivering programmes within a software professional services or consulting firm
  • Experience of working within a technology change programme environment
  • Experience of client nurturing, account management and business development. Including managing the overall client relationship, stakeholder management, strategy alignment and Customer Success Management
  • Experience in business change management
  • Experience managing a multi-disciplinary delivery team within an Agile Jira Environment; this will include Project Managers, Solution Architects, Technical Architects, Data Architects, Developers, Functional Consultants, Test Managers within the organisation

 

Skills

  • Keen understanding of programme and project processes and artefacts, what they are and why we use them, and the ability to embed them within a programme team for consistent delivery and reporting over prolonged period of time
  • Ability to work with all levels of management, comfortable delivering messages to Senior Management including C-Suite level
  • Sensitive stakeholder management; comfortable leading the client in managing expectations, providing recommendations, and dealing with escalations when they arise
  • Strong leadership and thought leadership skills; capable to proactively lead both the organisation and their client towards meeting the goals of the programme
  • Strong influencing skills; experience in managing teams in matrix environments with complex priorities
  • Ability to manage changing priorities, whilst driving towards the client’s programme goals
  • Highly collaborative attitude, able to be both a leader and a supportive team player
  • Cultural awareness skills and the ability to bring teams together from multiple geographies and within complex reporting structures
  • Ability to think independently and consider cross-functional and downstream impacts
  • Ability to identify resource gaps on the client delivery side, and provide recommendations of how our client can provide consultancy support including a roadmap to upskilling client resources
  • When focusing on a project within the programme, capability to facilitate, if needed, key rituals such as backlog grooming, daily scrums, client status calls and retrospectives

 

The ideal candidate would also have knowledge and experience of:

  • Working with charities’ fundraising, marketing and supporter engagement teams
  • Business analysis
  • Hands-on use of Salesforce
  • Marketing Cloud or other digital marketing tools
  • Presales experience, knowledge of creating Sales Proposals and Statements of Work
  • Managing change requests
  • Reviewing and approving technical documentation
