Data Engineer

A nonprofit involved in the education sector is looking to expand its tech team.

This is a remote role paying up to £38,235 per annum working 5 days per week over 40 hours. This employer encourages flexible working patterns to suit a working parent.

The purpose of this role:

This organization has a large tech stack that needs to be put into insights and impacts better through data architecture, and they are seeking a candidate with the knowledge to build the architecture for that data. Platforms currently used are BigQuery and Hevo but plan to move away from these.

Requirements:

Previous experience in developing data pipelines, integrating systems, Building, maintaining, and documenting database systems, and mapping how different systems work together to enable automation and scale, working with stakeholders to gather requirements.

• SQL is essential
• Python is desirable

It is expected that the ideal candidate will have minimum of 18 months of experience in roles such as: Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Developer, HOWEVER the focus of this role is having experience in the above skills

It is important that the right candidate aligns with the organisation’s mission, is collaborative to support the team and has excellent communication skills
